Suggestions For Automating Ghana's Hospitals

Dear Readers,

There is the dire need for Ghana to quickly resolve the challenges that has hitherto hindered the country from having a fully nationwide networked automated system in our hospitals.

The proper house addressing system as well as the national identification challenges should be speedily dealt with.

This government must slake the thirst of its populace for better health service delivery and this could be realized when among others we have a computerized system accessible at all health facilities in Ghana bearing useful information such as clients  electronic folders with the doctors prognosis, reports, treatment and diagnosis of clients, doctors information and details, the various medical facilities the clients have ever visited &c.

This would go a long way to boost our health system, ensure transparency, eliminate the quack doctors from the medical practice and reduce mortality rates in Ghana since  clients could be attended to just upon arrival at the hospitals without creating new folders each time they visit a new hospital and give the health experts vivid information as to clients medical history and grant them a fair view of how to handle clients.

It would bring the very good doctors we have in Ghana to the limelight and improve investor confidence in this country for the saying goes," A healthy nation is a productive nation"

Yours faithfully,

Signed
